1. Who is responsible for your information
This website is operated by Huaxia Journeys, which is the data controller for the information described in this policy. Written enquiries: our postal address is available on request — email ideonjjl998@gmail.com and we will send it to you. You can reach us at ideonjjl998@gmail.com.
This is an information and inquiry website. We publish travel information about destinations in China and we handle trip inquiries. We do not sell travel packages on this site, we do not take payment here, and we are not the party that operates your trip.
If you decide to go ahead, the travel services are arranged and delivered by an independent travel service provider, and any contract you sign is with that provider. We identify the provider to you before you commit to anything. From that point the provider is a separate controller for the information it needs to deliver your trip, and its own privacy policy applies to that information.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit an inquiry form, you may provide:
- Your name
- Your email address
- A WhatsApp or phone number, if you choose to give one
- Travel details such as dates, number of travelers, trip length, destinations and travel style
- Any requirements you describe, including accessibility, dietary or medical-related needs relevant to planning
Please only share sensitive information (for example a medical condition) if it is genuinely needed to plan your trip. We handle anything you do share with that understanding.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, our server and our analytics tools may record your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and how you interact with buttons and links. Where analytics are used, this happens only after you give consent through our cookie banner.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time using or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place.
4. Who we share it with
We share your inquiry with the independent travel service provider responsible for your itinerary, so that they can prepare a quotation and, if you go ahead, deliver the services. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing purposes.
We also use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Our hosting provider, which stores the website and its database
- Our email provider, which delivers inquiry notifications to us
- Analytics and advertising providers, but only if you have consented to cookies
5. International transfers
Our website is hosted in Singapore, and our team and travel service providers are located in mainland China. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this means your information is transferred outside your home jurisdiction. We take reasonable steps to protect it, including limiting access to people who need it for the purposes described above.
6. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records for up to 24 months so we can respond to follow-up questions and understand demand over time. Analytics data is kept in aggregated or pseudonymous form for up to 14 months. Server logs are retained for a shorter period, typically around 30 days. Information contained in a confirmed booking is retained by the travel service provider in accordance with its own retention and accounting obligations.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
If you are a resident of California or another US state with privacy legislation, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to request correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under applicable US state law.

8. Security
We use HTTPS across the site, restrict administrative access, keep WordPress and its components updated, and limit who can see inquiry data. No website can guarantee absolute security, so if you believe your information has been compromised, please tell us immediately.
9. Children
This site is intended for adults planning travel. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email ideonjjl998@gmail.com and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes or as the law requires. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.
