How a Trip Request Usually Takes Shape
The three examples below show the kind of requests we receive and how they are typically turned into a workable plan. They are planning illustrations, not customer reviews, testimonials or endorsements.
Example request: a family arrives with a rough list of cities and not much else. The draft that comes back is a realistic day-by-day plan, paced for traveling with older parents.

Most travelers need a visa, though transit-free entry and visa-free policies apply to some nationalities for limited stays. Requirements change, so check early and keep your passport valid for at least six months.
Best Time to Visit
Spring (April–May) and autumn (September–October) offer the most comfortable weather across most of China. Summer suits mountain and highland regions; winter is quiet and good for cities and festivals.

Mobile payment is the norm in daily life. International cards work in major hotels and many larger stores, but it is worth setting up at least one local payment option and arranging data access before you land.

Do I need a visa to travel to China?
Most visitors need a visa arranged before departure, but several nationalities can enter visa-free or use transit policies for limited stays. Rules change regularly, so tell us your nationality and travel dates and we will point you to the current requirements for your case.
How far in advance should I send an inquiry?
Four to eight weeks is comfortable for a customized journey, and earlier is better for national holidays such as Chinese New Year and the October Golden Week. Shorter notice is often still possible for city-based trips — just ask.
Can the itinerary be changed after I send my request?
Yes. The first version is a proposal, not a contract. You can adjust destinations, pacing, hotel level and experiences, and the plan is reworked until it fits before anything is confirmed.
Do I need to speak Chinese?
Not necessarily. English works in major hotels, airports and tourist areas, and English-speaking guides can be arranged in many destinations. In smaller towns a guide or translation app makes daily life much easier.
How does payment work?
Once the itinerary is confirmed, the formal travel contract and payment are handled directly by an independent travel service provider. Huaxia Journeys does not collect payment for travel services. We tell you which provider is handling your arrangements before you sign anything, and you can ask that provider for its license details.
What if my plans change before the trip?
Contact us as early as possible so changes can be discussed with the travel partner. Any adjustment is subject to the conditions of your confirmed contract and the cancellation terms of hotels, trains and attractions involved.
